I used DIM, Papillex, and Vag Pack suppositories from a company called Wise Woman's Herbals. I also changed my diet to what Bueller recommends and took up yoga practice for stress relief.

Re: The Cervical Cancer Vaccine may Not Work, but Broccoli Does

Hi. I was almost about to try Papillex. Have you heard anything about this product. Do you think that Bioresponse might be better?

Thanks..

Re: The Cervical Cancer Vaccine may Not Work, but Broccoli Does

Hi I forgot to say, thank you for your advice - I'm willing to try anything at the moment. It's been pretty horrible dealing with this both physically and emotionally - luckily I have a great supportive partner!

Re: The Cervical Cancer Vaccine may Not Work, but Broccoli Does

Hi Bueller,
Thanks for this post.
I would like to link it to my cancer blog.

I have been prescribed IC3 as well as loads of broccoli as part of my anti-cancer diet. I try to eat it raw but cant really stomach it so it goes into my green smoothies.

Karen,
Im sorry to hear this. I had stage 1a2 cervical cancer.
I had a lot of flak from people regarding it being a 'promiscuous disease'.
I think my diet and stress , as well as sometime in my life contracting HPV has dealt me cancer. My stress levels prior to getting cancer was high up as well as being highly deficient after being on the OC for so long.
please visit my blog and let me know what you think.

Re: The Cervical Cancer Vaccine may Not Work, but Broccoli Does

Hi Karen:
You should read my "girls corner" at the top of the page to the right about how to get rid of HPV. You need to take very high doses of DIM, not just eat broccoli. Bio Response is great. Check it out!

Bueller

Re: The Cervical Cancer Vaccine may Not Work, but Broccoli Does

Hi, I'm a bit confused by the article. I'm 29, vegetarian all of my life (so are my parents) and I am currently being treated for cervical cancer. Broccolli, brussel sprouts, cabbage, etc have been and continues to be a big part of my diet. I contracted HPV from my partner and I have had some serious issues dealing with the stigma of having HPV - it seems that a lot of people think that it is the result of being promiscuous when in my case this is certainly not true. Anyway, I just want to know your thoughts - am I just really unlucky? Because according to this article my diet should have provided me with sufficient protection so that I wouldn't be going through this horrible process right now.
